The 40th edition of Nike’s Iconic Road running shoe brings the Zoom Air units and React Foam from previous editions into a more forgivable and breathable upper.
What’s New
Most of the update with the Women's Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 40 occurs in the upper. Opting to begin with the midfoot Nike introduced a midfoot strap that wraps from underneath the arch to the top of foot. The strap provides more midfoot lock down while retaining a soft feel underneath the arch regardless of arch volume. Ultimately, the shoe hasn’t changed much from the 39th edition. If you enjoyed the 39th you will enjoy the 40th.

Sitting beneath the forefoot and heel of the Women’s Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 40 the Zoom Air Pods this technology utilizes pressurized air and tightly stretched woven fibers to dampen impact and return energy.
